She has a Ph.D in Storia e critica dei beni artistici, musicali e dello spettacolo at Padua University. She discussed a thesis titled «Dietro la traccia de’ gran maestri». Prassi e poetica del ballo pantomimo italiano negli ultimi quarant’anni del Settecento. Her research’s field is Italian pantomime ballet in the late Eighteenth century, focusing on some of its leading figures and on the analysis of librettos. She is in the editorial board of «Danza e ricerca» and member of AirDanza.

Abstract

Italia 2011-2014 is a bibliography including Italian dance books from 2011 to 2014. The text is an update of the previous Italia 2000-2011, edited by «Danza e ricerca» in December 2011. As in the former bibliography, texts has been selected following the scientific approach of the review, in order to outline the contemporary panorama of dance studies in Italy. Titles has been organized in two ways by subject, as an indication, and by year of publication.
