The paper Footprints on Paper. Epiphanies and "Scartafacci" to Say Marie Taglioni (Bologna 1842) investigates a brief period of the career of one of the greatest stars of the romantic ballet, Marie Taglioni (1804 -1884). She arrives in a city of the Italian province, Bologna, in 1842, when she is at the apex of her career. In this occasion several attempts are unfolded to say her dance through the words of different typologies of poetic writings of occasion, as it also happens for other divas of the epoch, for instance Fanny Elssler.Downloads
