This article is an invitation to take a new look at Street Dance (1964) by Lucinda Childs, using an archaeological analysis of comments and traces left by the choreographer and witnesses. An important work from American postmodern dance, Street Dance will be studied as part of research into site specific choreography, through the detailed analysis of twelve documents, questioning the specific link between work and place.Downloads
