Directs the centre for dance training Mousikè (Bologna) in which a special programme in methodological research of dance in child and youth education, both in scholastic and vocational context, has been developed since 1990. Within the same structure she is responsible for the national Course for Danzeducatore® which trains dance practitioners in educational and community dance. She is Vice President of DES - National Association Dance Education Society. Since 1999, she is contract professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Bologna where she teaches Technique and theory of motor activity in childhood and Educational dance Laboratory. Parallel to her theoretical investigation, focused on the interaction between teaching skills and method in educational and community dance, she works in a variety of contexts, delivering lectures, classes and workshops for schools teachers, dance teachers and professional dancers and creating special performing projects with cross-generational people. Abstract

The word “wandering” recalls the idea of moving and exploring, the idea of going around not so much motivated by the wish to achieve, as rather from the pleasure of being on the road. In a pedagogical perspective it calls to mind the value of that kind of experience we fully live and cross with curiosity and desire to go beyond the boundaries of the known. In this paper the concept of wandering will be the key to a reflection on the pedagogical thought of Rudolf Laban.
